This House, in activity from 1948, is the third Japanese producer of acoustic pianos, after Yamaha and Kawai.
Besides the main factory in Japan, it is present in China with a plant (inaugured in 2004) to Shanghai, and Vietnam (Ho chi Minh, ex Saigon).
The TOYO is placed in more important international markets, with a net of distributers, while in Italy it is absent from the goan of 90's, but now we are working so that it can return on our domestic markets, with a series of pianos (vertical and grand pianos) of optimal invoice and a relationship truly intesting quality/prize.
The Ger-Apollo line (manifacture and technology Japanese-German) and the series NA116, this last one has recived the within quality.
acknowledgement' "diaposon d'Or" in 2009 from the Franch market, is to testimony of the goodness of Brand TOYO.
The Toyo Piano is certifyd JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) and from 1988 it is Holder of world-wide license SSS (Slide Soft System) arranges of the pedal "unacorda" applied to the vertical pianos, only characteristic that usually is classified to the Grand Pianos.

TOYO APOLLO A35 N° 113516 del 1979 (cm 206)
This is my piano, similar faithful of job from many years. We have met for the first time, during 80's, on a cruise liner and it has been "love at first sight", so much so that years after, when I have found again it in Italy (through the Nazzari Company of Cremona, comingfrom again the Fabbrini Company of Pescara), I have not hesitated to acquire it.
Sturdy, reliable instrument, that it joins to the famous manifacture of Japanese quality, a powerful sound, "very European", I define it... a piano of detached "personality". For every pianist own instrument must have characteristics of timber satisfying, of solid and reliable mechanics, a sensibility to the touch to return it only, indipendently from the fair market value and the popularity one of the brand.
I am proud to possess this Apollo that gives me every day always new and intense emotions.
Thanks to Toyo Piano, to have planned and to have constructed it.
